rad hourani's fall 2010 show is characteristically all-black, sharply tailored and very androgynous. the bondage trend is present, but a bit more tame and wearable than in other collections. a nice addition to his signature design is the use of patent leather - in jackets, shorts and embroidery - although, the shoes are better with matte detailing. texture is the name of the game, as hourani's collection features fur, leather, spandex, wool and a few heavy-knit pieces. overall i'm not shocked by any of the looks, but then again, rad is likely building on his talents towards a more focused identity.
